REPLIKA – PRESENTING A JOURNAL OF SOCIOLOGY

drei raben | february 2018

The 105th issue of the sociology periodical Replika was presented in an extraordinary way with a surprising contemporary art performance at the cellar of the Three Ravens. Miklós Hadas sociologist attempted to give an entirely historical-sociological explanation of today’s Hungarian reality in an essay titled ”What is Hungarian?” after 78 years. The Soharóza choir brought the speech to life with improvising on the text, playing musical effects and rhythm games on keywords and also singing an arrangement of the well-known Hungarian song Gloomy Sunday. This is how scientific research achievements can suddenly turn into a social happening.
