To our utmost delight, the unique ensemble Bélaműhely invited us to be one of their “instruments” for their 10th birthday concert at the Trafó House of Contemporary Arts. We first worked together with them in May 2015 in their interactive concert called Conductor Game. The rehearsals were super exciting for us as we usually sing and improvise based on predictable signs of a leader, this time however the signs were spontaneous and characteristic of each conductor (invited from the audience). At the birthday concert we hid among the audience until the end, then suddenly emerged as special guests. The term “full out” used by Merse Varga and “escape forward” used by István Rimoczi, both prominent members of Bélaműhely, now form important parts of the Soharóza vocabulary, commonly applied during rehearsals.
