HEAR AGAIN

Following their first successful show in May 2017, Flemish choreographer Benjamin Vandewalle and French composer and musician Yoann Durant returned to Budapest to repeat the performance a second time. The concept is based on sound-choreography received only by hearing by a blindfolded audience, in a completely unknown space – recreating a continuous sound-scenery that evolves through and in-between the audience. If you manage to shut out all visual inducement, each sound creates physical power manifested by free association. With a desire to experiment with the production and perception of voices and noises, the choreographer and the musician searched for an “instrument” to create their specific sound in several countries. In Hungary it was brought to life by Soharóza.
