Experimental choral theatre based on HILDEGARD VON BINGEN's life and works
Polyphony and improvisation based on Hildegard’s plain chants and elements of her life. The choir plays with natural acoustics and amplification, weaving movement and sound experiments into the plot and notes of a morality play written and composed by the abbess herself. Both music and thoughts were reconsidered to find a link to today’s man, to our world and living of now. That is how it was possible to fabricate wordly thoughts out of the words of a purely religious woman, and for the creators to place themselves in the shoes of the protagonist soul of Hildegard’s Order of Virtues.
